1) All art is to be secured in the portrait position for ease of even lighting.
2) Measure the longest dimension of overall art (including frame).
3) Loosen quick release knobs on the lower art support and set to dimension using the calibration scale. I.e.: If the piece is 24x36 set the lower art support to 36”.
4) Set upper art support to slightly longer dimension than the piece. I.E. If the dimension is 36” set the bar to 37”.
5) Place artwork on lower horizontal art support flush with the front.
6) Using the quick release knobs on the upper art support, loosen and lower to upper edge of art. |
7) Tighten quick release knobs to secure art.
8) Bring into position the color chart holder and Velcro on your color chart, gray scale, and/or white balance chart.
To copy loose pieces and thinly mounted art:
1) Attach with tape to oversized piece of black fomecore or gator board.
2) Follow steps for framed or mounted prints also employing the metal clips on the horizontal art supports to secure artwork.
